Dreams Fulfilled

Lanny's Trip

The Dream Factory made it possible for me and my family to Disney World, where we were welcomed with open arms. Our trip to Disney World was the best ever.  Why?  Because everywhere we went, we were treated like kings. We always went to the head of the line and had a blast on all the rides. Pirates of the Caribbean was awesome.  After that, we stormed the castle!

We pretty much ruled Disney World while we were there.  We rocked the hizzie! Thank you Dream Factory, for making my dream come true.

Alex's Trip

These are just a few of the wonderful memories of our trip to Florida. Thank you so much for raising the money to send Alex and the rest of us. We had an amazing time. It filled my heart with so much joy, I was so overwhelmed when we went to the Magic Kingdom that I began to cry a bit (OK, the flood gates opened).

I just never thought I would have the opportunity to let my children experience the amazement that is Disney. I visited often when I was a child.

There simply are no words to say how truly grateful we are.

Tim's Trip

Tim's chemo treatments were finished in April so he was very healthy for the trip. Tim and his family had a wonderful trip to Destin, Florida.

He flew on an airplane for the first time. He swam in the ocean for the first time and built a sand castle with a professional sand castle artist. He went on a fishing boat called the "Little Nemo". Only the kids get to fish on this boat. Tim caught six "Threadfin" fish. All of the other kids caught fish too. Every kid got to drive the boat from the captains cabin on the second deck. The captain showed him how the depth finder worked as we cruised around the harbor.

One day Tim, his two older brothers and his dad went snorkeling and saw a ray, some small fish and many hermit crabs.

Almost every night we went to the beach with flashlights and looked for crabs.
